Hello Everyone, and Happy 2019!
January has gotten off to a busy start…. Sewing at the Beach in SC and then a textile show in NYC! I am hoping to post a bit more ( one of my 2019 New Year’s Resolutions!), so we shall see. I is shaping up to be a busy spring – we will be grandparents come May, and we know it is a boy, so I will be thinking in blue for a while. I will be posting about sewing for boys as time goes on. I have found some cute prints that are making their way into my stash, so stay tuned!
Pantone has announced their Color of the Year for 2019 – Living Coral. You can expect to see that color pop up throughout the year, in RTW clothing as well as fabrics.

I also thought it would be fun to check out some of the previous colors. 2016 was a banner year, as it actually had 2 Colors of the Year – Rose Quartz (pink) and Serenity (blue).

I will be in Nashville on February 7-9, at Children’s Corner – I hope to see some of you then!
Happy Stitching,
Vaune
