White Satin Batiste is a lightweight fabric (a tad heavier than Swiss batiste), and has a nice sheen on one side. It is perfect for tucks, gathers, and heirloom sewing. It is perfect for slips, nightgowns, pinafores, blouses, etc. It pleats like butter, is wonderful for rolling and whipping (Fine Hand Sewing), sheer enough for Shadow Work, and perfect for Pin stitch! It is 100% cotton, and 45 ” wide.
