Texas Tote with Liberty Accents – An Embroidered Tote with Leather Straps
Add a bit of Liberty to your life with the Texas Liberty Tote, a functional, embroidered tote. It will soon become your favorite bag to carry! Using a heavy weight duck cloth, this bag can stand and stand up to almost anything! Liberty of London Tana lawn is used to create a scalloped border around the bottom of the bag, as well as the bias binding detail around the top. You have your choice of 3 different embroidery designs to choose from to embellish the outside pocket. The embroidery techniques that we will focus on are the bullion: scallop bullions, pinwheel bullions, and looped (daisy) bullions, along with the French Knot, Stem stitch, and Blanket stitch with Scalloped edged pansies. More of the Liberty fabric is used to finish the inside of the bag (the inside is as nice as the outside), as well as the water bottle pocket on the outside. The inside is furnished with 2 pockets. The zippered pocket is lined with RFID fabric to keep your credit card information safe. The divided pocket has 3 sections for storage. A sturdy leather handle is added.
The class takes place on November 7, 14, & 21st, 2020. Class time is 10am – 12pm PACIFIC COAST time!
Eastern Time: 1 – 3pm

Class fee $79 ( 3 – 2 hour sessions: Lesson 1: Embroidery, Lesson 2: Techniques, Lesson 3: Construction)
Kit Fee $95 (this includes shipping)
Private Facebook Group – the group will be accessible for 3 weeks after the class is finished. It will have a link to the video of each class (I will be recording and post the video – the class will not be able to be recorded by students). I will monitor the FB group for questions, and I hope you will post your progress as well as your finished projects!
