Cindy Foose and I have found a new home for our 2018 retreat, “Traditions and Transitions”, which will be August 24-26, 2018. We will also have a Come Early Class on Thursday and a Stay and Sew Day on Monday.
As summer wanes, transitions into cooler weather, fall activities, and holiday preparations receive a hearty welcome. The colors and textures of a new season’s fabrics whet our interest and nudge us to sew for the children in our lives. Vaune and Cindy invite you to join them at Mount St. Joseph Retreat Center, in Maple Mount, Kentucky, for three days of superb instruction centered around two adorable outfits guaranteed to ease a young girl’s wardrobe into fall with traditional comfort and style. The weekend offers a casual, relaxed atmosphere with plenty of time to sew. Step away from your busy life, re-connect with sewing buddies, meet new friends and focus on learning, stitching, and honing your skills. Of course, fun, food, and fellowship with kindred spirits is assured.
I just got back from the LA Textile show, where fabrics were chosen, and we will be making our sample garments as soon as we get the fabric in!
