Pantone has just announced their 2018 Color Palettes. These are the colors that they ‘predict’ that will be used throughout the clothing and garment industry. The top palette in the picture is dedicated to home dec. The palette names for 2018 are:
Vedure Playful Discretion TECH-nique
Far-fetched Resourceful Intricacy Intensity
The 2018 Color of the Year will not be announced until later in the year, usually about November or December. LAST year’s coor (2017) was Greenery

Here she is again – a pink floral this time. Puff sleeves and a ruffle collar! The next picture gets even better!
You can see that she has on a SLIP with her dress…be still my beating heart!
And on to other things –
I have wanted to do more sewing for myself, but always have trouble fitting myself. Even though I am on the small size, I am no where near a standard size. I am short waisted, and have long arms and legs. I read about a personalized dress form,where they scan your body and then make a dress form with your measurements.
Another beautiful BYD on Princess Charlotte – just reminds me of why I like this dress style so much!

I have had a chance to play around with my new iron and tickled pink with what I have seen so far! The Velocity 200IR is the newest version of home iron that was just released.
