Through 10/31 – Stella Two Lamp on Sale – thought I would pass this along!

Hello everyone!  It was wonderful seeing some of you in Greenville, SC, at the classes that I taught for the Palmetto Pleaters, and at the national SAGA Convention in North Charleston, SC.  I was able to do a little sight seeing in Charleston and it was wonderful to catch up with friends at the convention.   One of the things that I love about my stitching friends is that even though we may only see each other once or twice a year, we fall right into conversations as if we had seen each other last week.

I just received an email from the Stella Lighting Company announcing their sale of the Stella Two lamp.  I have the original Stella Lamp, as well as their Sky model (floor lamp) and have been very happy with them.   They used to sell through their distributors, and I sold many of these, but they have gone to a different model and sell directly to the public.  When you are checking out, it will give you the option to order through (Amazon) Prime, but going this way will NOT give you the sale price.

The Stella Two is 25% brighter than the original Stella and has 10 levels of lighting (instead of 5) and still has 3 lighting modes – warm, natural, and cool white.  They are available in white, black, and pink.  I think all of the colors of the Stella Two are on sale.  They normally sell for $249, but the White and the Black are on special for $139, and the Pink is on special for $169.

This is the link to the Stella Website page for the Stella Two lamps, if you are interested:  Stella Two Lamp Sale

Another lamp that they sell (and I will be watching this one) is the relatively new Stella Go, which is a battery powered lamp that has the same 10 lighting levels and 3 lighting modes.  It is a bit pricier ($349) and is NOT on sale, but I will be watching for maybe some Black Friday specials.  Battery powered lighting is becoming more important as the costs for putting electricity into teaching rooms keep rising.

I mentioned in a previous post that I would be adding more pictures from the Guo Pei exhibit.  Today I am adding the info placard that was in the exhibit, along with a picture of another dress with massive amounts of beadwork on it.  I think hand stitchers are always appreciative of other handwork artists, as we know the time and care that is involved in creating these works of art!

I am off to another niece’s wedding (that makes 3 this year) and will post again when I return!

Happy Stitching,

Vaune
